Western Recycling was originally incorporated in 1976.
The current owners have owned and operated the business since 1979.
Originally Western had one location with approximately 6500 square feet of warehouse/production space.
Western now operates in six locations in Idaho. Boise, Nampa, Fruitland, Twin Falls, Idaho Falls, Pocatello.
The company is employee owned. Western processes over 100,000 tons of cardboard, paper, plastics, aluminum cans, ferrous scrap metal, and nonferrous scrap metal each year. In 1986, through our affiliate, Western Records Destruction Inc., we expanded our services to include onsite and offsite document shredding.
