Western Recycling was originally incorporated in 1976.
The current owners have owned and operated the business since 1979.
Originally Western had one location with approximately 6500 square feet of warehouse/production space.
Western has grown to six locations with 74,000 square feet of warehouse/production space.
The company is employee owned. Western processes approximately 80,000 tons of paper, plastics, aluminum cans, ferrous scrap metal, and nonferrous scrap metal each year.
In 1986, through our affiliate, Western Records Destruction, Inc., we expanded our services to include offsite and mobile confidential document shredding.
